Sylvan Lake Santa Clause Parade & Christmas Fireworks
When: Saturday December 2nd @ 5:00PM
Where: 47 Avenue, 50 Street, and Lakeshore Drive
Join us for Lightup the Lakes Christmas Celebrations, including an annual parade and fireworks!
Winter Night Lights Tour
When: November 16 – December 30
Where: 6300 Cronquist Dr, Red Deer
Enjoy a horse drawn sleigh through 20,000+ displays of winter lights. Hot chocolate and blankets are provided.
Canadian Pacific Holiday Train
When: December 6th and 7th
Where: Various Locations
This is the 18th year of the holiday train’s trek across Canada to raise money and awareness for the food banks and hunger issues across Canada. The holiday train is 1000-feet in length with 14 rail cars decorated with hundreds of thousands of LED lights and a travelling stage.

Where: Red Deer College Arts Centre
Enjoy two evenings of Christmas favourites and jazz standards by the RDC Big Band and Jazz Combos.
Christmas and that Jazz
When: December 9th
Where: 100 College Blvd, Red Deer
Featuring vocalist Cheryl Fisher, come hear Christmas standards with a jazz twist. A trio of local talent will take you on a bluesy seasonal trip where each song has a little swing to it.
When: December 23rd
Where: Gaetz Memorial United Church
Featuring Rosa Barocca, this immortal masterpiece will be performed on period instruments by Alberta’s Rosa Barocca and a handpicked group of singers. This will be a family friendly and unforgettable experience.
